Outlook Club / Friends of the Library

Yard Sale

Saturday, August 18

The Hartland Public Library will be the beneficiary of the combined efforts of the Friends of the Library and the Hartland-St. Albans Outlook Club with a yard sale on Saturday, Aug. 18, at 277 Grant Rd, St. Albans, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.  Both organizations were founded in support of the community library, the Outlook Club dating back almost 120 years. The Friends of HPL, a newer group, has taken on support of several ongoing programs. The combined memberships of the organizations are collecting yard sale items including many household tools, needs and decorations as well as  jewelry, craft items, fishing waders, deer stand, king and queen size  comforters; something for all ages and interests.  For more information or to donate call 938-3585 or 938-4856.

Have your dedication inscribed on a leaf of the the Giving Tree.

An engraved leaf is added to the giving tree for a donation of $100.  Leaves can be added in memory of someone, in honor of someone, or just to acknowledge a donation to the Library.  Groups are also recognized for their donations.
