HPL is now open by appointment for 30 minutes on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. Five people will be allowed in the building at one time, so we recommend only one family member per visit. Call the library at 938-4702 or email the librarian @ nickb@hartland.lib.me.us to make an appointment.
- Masks covering both nose and mouth are required – no exceptions. Disposable masks will be available but wearing your own is preferable.
- Patrons are required to sanitize their hands upon entering the library. Hand sanitizer is available at the entry.
- Please limit the touching of items as much as possible.
- Keep 6 feet from staff and other patrons.
- Only one person at a time is allowed at the desk.
- Computers #2 and #4 are now available for general use.
- Printing is now allowed from computer #4. The librarian will collect print jobs from the printer and collect payment. Exact cash payment is required; in the interest of limiting the handling of money, no change will be provided at this time.
- Computer workstations will be sanitized after every user.
- No copying or faxing services will be available until further notice.
- All returns should still be through book drop.
- Bathroom is limited to staff use only.
