| Librarian’s Report | Lorrie attended MSL Reading Roundup in April and ASRL Conference in Sep. She attends regular meetings and trainings by Zoom. NDEC classes and Tech Training are available. We have 24,405 items in our library. Updating is ongoing, with the focus this year being on adult non-fiction. | Call Lorrie (938-4702) for details and/or to make suggestions for programs. |
| Publicity | Helen asks for news items to be sent to her 10 days before RTE’s Monday publication. | |
| School Liaison | SES will plan field trips here this spring, probably Thursday mornings. | |
| Book Club | Zoom meetings 6pm Jan. and Feb. | Call Lorrie to join. |
| Programs | Melanie Braley will host a Valentine Card-making class Feb. 5th, 3:30 to 4:30 pm.Story Time will resume Tuesdays at 10:30, hosted by Brianna. Target age: 0-2, but all are welcome. | |
| Old Business | The Short Story Contest prizes will be $50/grade.Prizes will be announced 3/12. The Display Case now holds antique tins. Feb. will feature vases and valentines, Mar. horses. | Alex has publicized at NMS, Lorrie on FB, and Faith has created a bulletin board at HPL.Kathie, Irene, Lorrie, Alex, Jen, and Gail will judge the entries; date TBD.Come see! | New Business | HPL Board asks us to help with their budget. | We voted to contribute $500 for programming and $1000 for new books, directly to Lorrie. |
