Friends of HPL Minutes, March 17, 2022

| Financial report | Beginning balance $2480.15, ending $2545.15 | $65 in dues have been received. |
| Librarian’s report | Lorrie continues to reorganize the book collections. She is planning the SRP. A Writers Group planning session will meet downstairs Sat., 3/19. Bulletin Board will feature our book recommendations. | Send a short write-up and book picture to Jen. |
| Publicity | Helen keeps RTE up-to-date weekly. Liz will put a picture of the Sharing Shelf on the website. | 7 new library cards were issued in Feb.! See hartlandpubliclibrary.org for online form or stop in at the library. |
| School Liaison | Helen and Liz send info to SVMS for its monthly newsletter. | |
| Book Club | Summer choices will include Read ME titles. | Contact Ellie or Lorrie to participate. |
| Programs | Storytime will resume Sat., 10:30 am, beginning April 16th. Crafts will be at least monthly. | The kids love Take and Make Craft Kits! |
| Old Business | The State Park Day Pass is $105. The Plant and Book Sale will be Sat., May 21st. Yard Sale to be determined. Vegetable Garden will be small, in-ground. | Jen will order one. We need seedlings, perennials, house plants… Shovels, plants & workers needed. Date TBD. |
| New Business | St. Albans Summerfest is Sat., 7/16. HPL will do outdoor games, book give-aways, and will provide forms to sign up for a library card as well as a Friend of HPL. | See Ellie or Lorrie for more info or to volunteer. |
