Friends of HPL Minutes, January 21, 2022

| Call to order | We met via Zoom from 6 to 6:45 pm. | |
| Minutes | The 11/18 minutes had been emailed. | Accepted. |
| Financial Report | We have a balance of 2480.15. Lorrie and Irene have been reimbursed. | Dues invoices will be sent next week. |
| Librarian’s Report | There are 4 participants in the Bean Stack Program. A SRP MAY happen, depending on COVID. The Library’s winter closing hour is now 5 pm. Park pass is $105. ME Discovery Museum $150. Sea Dog tickets are free. | We will purchase a park pass; wait on MDM to assess interest. |
| Trustee Update | Joanne Elwell is the new chair, Jeremy Bragg Treasurer-in-training. Several updates are happening and/or planned. (New locks, windows, shelving, heat pumps.) | |
| Publicity | Helen continues to do a great job. Likewise, Liz has updated the website. | |
| Book Club | Meeting by Zoom. | Call Lorrie to join. See website for book titles. |
| Programming | Still on hold due to COVID. | |
| Old Business | Book sale downstairs is on-going. Lorrie suggests a February Free Book “sale.” Plant Sale May 21. Wait on yard sale. The south side of the current library building may be suitable for raising vegies, maybe in a raised box. | Come choose one or many! Please prepare seedlings, especially vegies, plants for shade as well as indoors. |
