Feb. is ReadtoME month. We publicized this via bulletin board, Facebook, and RTE. -Not much feedback. We informed the reading specialist at St. Albans about this program.

Let’s Talk About It: free books and a facilitator are provided by ME Humanities Council. Topic is ME Sports. – Ask John for more info

It is suggested that anything put out for the public to read should be reviewed by 2 persons before posting.

Old Business
Coffee House. Grants may be pursued to purchase karaoke machine, sound system, etc.

MSL grants. David is researching. An inflatable planetarium could be an HPL offering during Summerfest. Diane also said that if a grant is denied, a debriefing ought to be requested.

Beth will ask Joann Elwell if NCC is going to host the planetarium this year. More than 1 in the area could stimulate even more interest!

New Business
Capital Campaign. Diane gave much helpful insight. HPL may need to raise millions of dollars. If so, why should we rent/lease?
Fund raising is complex!

Upcoming Events
Story Hour every Sat. at 10:30 am.

Kids Craft 3/30: Sock Puppets
