Friends of HPL minutes, February 17, 2022
Present: Jen Mabee, Ellie Davids, Maureen Rekrut, Helen Gallagher,
Beth Clark, Libby Wiers, Irene White.
Call to Order: Virtual meeting began @ 6pm. Meeting ended @ 6:45pm.
Minutes: Minutes from January 2022 were accepted.
Financial Report: Balance = $2480.15. Dues notices were sent via email.
Library Report: Lorrie prepared a “Take Home Craft” for Feb. and will do so
again in March with a Dr. Seuss theme. Working on a plan to
acknowledge National Women’s Day (3/8/22). Seven new kids
signed up for library cards in Jan!
Publicity Report: Helen and Liz (through schools) have and will be advertising
Lorrie’s crafts, the ‘Sharing Shelf’, the park pass in April,
and the plant sale in May. Irene is making a sign for the
shelf.
Book Club: Continues to meet on the last Tuesday of each month. Will
meet at least one more time virtually. Contact the library
to join the group or check out the book list.
Old Business: Jen will change the filter in the air purifier. Jen will work
with Lorrie to get the park pass and have it available by
April. Jen would like to plan a meeting for anyone interested in helping with a vegetable garden in rly April.
New Business: No new business.
Next meeting: will be Thurs. March 17, 2022
